The public footpaths through Woburn Abbey's Deer Park remain open for walkers. Please do remain on the footpaths and keep dogs on leads for your safety and for that of our Deer. There is free parking in the car park in Woburn Village and many of the restaurants and cafes are offering takeaways services | Woburn Abbey and Gardens

As part of the newly designed experience at Woburn Abbey and Gardens, a new public entrance has been created. Stone piers have been constructed to receive railings and gates, to provide a welcoming arrival commensurate with the grandeur of the surroundings of the Abbey. Together with a repurposed historic structure which will serve as the ticket check, these features replace the 1960s aluminium kiosks, which always felt temporary and were rapidly deteriorating. Woburn Abbey continues to undergo major restoration, and here we can see how the roof, in particular, has been transformed over the past few years. Nearing the end of this vast structural work, you can see where the old slates are now being lifted to allow for the lead gutters and weathering underneath to be renewed before the slates are carefully cleaned and reinstated. We look forward to continuing to share many of the elements of this historic Abbey which are being restored or renewed for fut
