Earlier this morning, we saw the first passenger service arrive at the new multi-million-pound station for County Durham, Horden. The station will link the east of the county into the local, regional and national rail network and support the wider regeneration of the area. Most of the demolition is now complete as Phase 1 of the project is well under way including the ongoing works to divert a culvert and bring in the new utility connections.
